Hip Shaping
In the hip aesthetic topic, actually, there is common idea on ideal hip shape. By looking at fashion magazines and top models, ideal woman appearance converts into a mannish appearance, but I do not know about how much of this reflects into the daily life.
Hip Problems:
1- Fat tissue: The shape of the woman hip is determined by the fat tissue amount and distribution inside. Namely, if there is no fat on some certain points an excessive muscular and mannish appearance is formed and conversely if there is fat on some certain points an unpleasant hip shape emerges.
2- Skin structure: No matter what the distribution of fat is good, if the skin structure is bad, a problem pops up called cellulite. While I was reading a magazine for men I realized that, in fact, we are as men do not know so much about cellulite. This cellulite question is mostly a competition topic among women. Cellulite is the deformation of the skin surface as dents and protrusion which seem like the peel of an orange. Cellulite does not seem pleasant but from a man’s perspective still it is not the most important problem.
3- Gravity: Gravity pulls everything down. Hips also are affected from gravity and as getting older hips droop. So, hips seem unpleasant because of this. As a sum, hips should be with the ideal distribution of fat and should be high.
TREATMENT
The most important step is to determine the best fat distribution. By just changing the fat balance it is possible to have high, ideal hips without cellulite. The method used for this is to take the extra fat to parts that lack. The fat taking method is known as liposuction. The fat is taken by tube which is 2-3 mm. This is an easy process in compare to most of the plastic surgeries. It is applied by local anesthesia and it lasts less than 1 hour. Especially, the problem that distorts the shape of the hips the most, the fat of the extent of hipline pelvis cavity is easy to remove. To inject back the fat that is taken is called fat injection. This lasts approximately 1 hour and it can be implemented by local anesthesia. If a right plan is prepared and the extra fat is transferred to the parts that lacks, it could be a very much successful surgery.
In this picture, you can see that there are areas which fat is both taken and added.
The arrows that come to the hips are the parts that fat given, and the ones that go out are the parts that fat taken. Besides this, it is also a method to put special silicon that is made for hips. For this there is silicon prosthesis which resembles the prosthesis in breast operation. However this method is not very popular yet. There are two reasons for that. First of all to put silicon to a part that you sit on forms a great problem. Moreover, to put this silicon prosthesis a large cut is needed and this leaves a scar on skin reluctantly.
One other application that is not preferred because it leaves a scar is to elevate the hips. Actually in this surgery that you get great results if you do not notice the scars, there is a scar either on the waist or at the bottom of the hips. Hips are pulled upwards by this scar level (or it is pushed by taking the extras) and it is maintained the ideal shape and height.
